What we know of Solomon is, in fact, almost entirely down to the descriptions in the Old Testament books of Kings and Chronicles — fact-packed works which scholars consider to be highly reliable.

Solomon was the son of King David and wife Bathsheba. He was the last  king of Israel between 970 and 931 BCE. He was the wealthiest jew and the wisest man that ever lived.

He was by far one of the most important and relevant monarchs that history talks about, especially because he started at an early age. King Solomon is the true portrayal of wisdom, knowledge and integrity.

He was a well loved, reputable and trusted leader, he  had so much money coming in from taxes, mines and alliances. Solomon woke up to a lifestyle he never dreamed of having.

 

No. 1) HE IS MENTIONED IN MANY RELIGIONS:  Solomon is referenced in many religions. That’s stated in the bible and so many other religious books. It offers us proof that his wisdom and greatness was acknowledged by everyone.

 

No. 2) HE WAS GIVEN WISDOM FROM ABOVE:

Number two, According to the book of First kings, He was given wisdom and wealth by God because of his close relationship with God. Israel is the chosen land with solomon being their king. God kept a very close relationship with him, adding the fact that he was so young when he became king and had the best intentions.

It’s, a well-known story that God spoke with Solomon in a  dream him in his dreams and since    Solomon was unique in that he wanted guidance and wisdom and not death to his enemies and wealth and riches, he got even more as we all know, god does not give money or favours to His worshippers, but love and wisdom be careful what you wish for, because it might be in vain to ask for a new car or a boyfriend number three.

 

No. 3) HE HAD A COMMERCIAL EMPIRE: Solomon had a huge commercial empire. He had horses and chariots, his fortune was in gold. Back in the days of Solomon, wealth and fortunes were different. Most kings had palaces gold, slaves, horses, cattle and grains as well. Those were the main possessions that made a person rich and King Solomon had all of them.

He allegedly had around 2.3 trillion dollars in his fortune, consisting of 500 tons of pure gold from Israel’s. Gold mines, we don’t – know for sure.

 

No. 4) HE WAS A PROPHET & A TRANSFORMATIONALLEADER: He was one of the 48 prophets and a major biblical figure, the news of his wisdom, that god gifted him with made it so far that even royalties from far and near, came to visit him.

The Queen of Sheba came to see Israel’s prosperity for herself — in one of the two episodes for which Solomon is most famous. It is described in 2 Chronicles 9 as “a very great retinue and camels bearing spices and very much gold and precious stones.”

 

No. 5) HE SETTLED MANY DISPUTES: Solomon didn’t disappoint, all those who came to visit him were convinced of his greatness, one of the most famous acts of wisdom was the judgment of the two women who both Claimed to have been the mother of the same child to solve the case.

Solomon ordered a guard to cut the baby in half, so each could have a piece of it. The real mother gave in quickly and gave up the baby to the other, and that’s. How solomon knew who the real mother was modern-day psychologists could easily praise him for this act.

 

No. 6) HE BUILT CITIES: He built cities and temples throughout his life.  At one point, after his fame and wealth started to become a little too large king Solomon decided to take on a few projects. He had enough money and people to engage in architectural projects such as temples digging, gold mines and built cities. Hundreds of years later the site, though not the building itself, became the focal point for early Christians.

He also built cities for the slaves and workers to live. He definitely had some urbanization views to say the least and electors. Since we’re talking about the united kingdom of Israel, we thought you might like to know some more about this country.

 

No. 7) HE BUILT THE GREATEST TEMPLE IN JERUSALEM

He built the first temple of Jerusalem dedicated to God, although he built many other temples. His first one was his most emblematic known as the temple of  Solomon. It is said that even the angels helped him to build it, and, even though it was burned down, the land where it used to stand is sacred to the people in Jerusalem with so much construction work.

 

No. 8) HE MADE JERUSALEM POPULAR: Solomon’s Temple is even more important than you think. The city of Jerusalem, which is now the capital city of Israel, is one of the most important cities in the world. This piece of land bears great meaning for Christians, Muslims and Jewish people alike.

 

No. 9) HE WAS VERY WEALTHY: He monetized his wisdom as news of his wisdom flew all over the world.  He didn’t expect this to happen, but, as god promised him wisdom, he also promised him wealth and fortune for him and his people. We can easily say that Solomon was god’s, favourite human at the time, kings and leaders from far away came to see with their own eye what king Solomon did to Israel and how much wisdom he actually had. They would come bearing gifts and gold, and this is how Solomon gathered horses, camels, slaves, gold, Jewelry, wives and the biggest fortune of that time. A good reputation certainly helps number 12.

 

No. 10) HE AUTHORED MANY BOOKS : He wrote books that are in the bible now. Another great thing that Solomon is known for other than his wisdom was his writing. Throughout his life he wrote three major books and all of them are stories you can find in the bible in the old testament. We can even say that through Solomon God spoke to the world, the three books he authored are song of Solomon, proverbs and Ecclesiastes.

He also is credited for authoring the book of wisdom or wisdom of Solomon. It speaks of wisdom, wealth power and prayer, and it’s very cherished by jewish people number 15.
